VITAL SIGNS OF THE PLANET CONCERT FOR COP27

LAKEARTS FOUNDATION IN COOPERATION WITH THE CAIRO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, NASA & NATGEO

The Vital Signs of the Planet concert is planned as part of the COP27 Climate Conference to be held in Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt in 2022.

Originally performed at the U.N. Climate Summit in Glasgow, the concert melds the power of music with dramatic footage from NASA and National Geographic bringing to life the impact of climate change over the last 20 years on planet earth for a powerful live and cinematic event.

Partnering with the Cairo Symphony Orchestra of Egypt, the LakeArts Foundation will present artists, entertainers and leaders, all champions of the environmental movement, to tell the stories of climate change in a concert designed to inspire and activate audiences in Sharm-El-Sheikh and internationally.  NASA and National Geographic, and the World YMCA Africa Alliance will create a strong focus on Africa with African stories of the impact of climate change told by young environmental leaders from Africa and internationally recognized entertainers.
